It’s a race between Horde and Alliance to capture a relic protected in an island fortress, allows up to 15 players on each side using siege engines and explosive charges to reach the relic, and the final victor belongs to whom taking the shortest amount time in capturing. Other related criteria are: Location is Dragonblight; level brackets from 71 to 79, 80; and the break through the defenses and capture the relic.

"Like their counterparts in Wintergrasp, each siege engine has a ranged attack and several point-blank siege attacks, all of which do considerable damage to gates. Also as in Wintergrasp, two passengers can ride along in each siege engine while continuing to use their spells and abilities as if they were on foot, with the extra bonus of being protected from damage while the siege engine is operational..."
